Our Flagship Cruiser
Commanding Freedom is a very comfortable, high-quality cruiser perfect for family holidays. Featuring an upper sundeck with lounger and driving position, this is a fabulous summer cruiser capable of taking up to nine passengers.
Below decks there are three cabins, two toliet and shower compartments, a well-fitted galley and quality furnishings. The lower driving position is complemented by a double forward-facing bench seat for your crew to enjoy the trip and two large bench sofas behind, one that converts to a double berth and the other a single.
The saloon has huge picture windows giving brilliant views of the Norfolk Broads as you explore. The galley has a full-size cooker, stainless sink and drainer and a good-sized fridge. The lighting is also purpose designed for cooking, but with more ambient low-level lighting to illuminate the floor.
Accommodation comprises of the master cabin at the back with a double berth and en-suite shower / loo. At the front of the boat there is a large cabin with twin berths in a V formation which are convertible to a double. Behind this is the bunk cabin, perfect for the children and across the way so the second toilet / shower compartment.
Commanding Freedom offers many modern conveniences from the humble Microwave oven to solar battery charging, shore-power to heat the hot water (and charge the batteries) and even an intermittent windscreen wiper.

What you need to bring
You will need to pack clothing suitable for the anticipated weather according to the time of year you are boating. Layers would be best. Bring sensible shoes; high heels are totally unsuitable around boats and river banks. Consider bringing a first aid kit and environmentally-friendly cleaning materials. A torch will be useful.
Bottled Water is important as the water on the boat is stored in tanks and should be boiled before drinking.
Towels are not included as standard (except for overseas visitors). You may hire them from reception or bring your own.
Things you should not bring
Boats have relatively little storage space so pack sensibly. Items that are strictly forbidden include:

- Any Gas-powered appliance
- Any Liquid Fuel
- Any Solid Inflamable Fuel
- Electric heating appliances
- Electric Kitchen Appliances
